Two Quick & Easy Cards featuring the Simon Says Stamp April 2016 Card Kit

When you sign up for a subscription service and are thrilled with your first month’s delivery you can’t help but wonder if future kits will be as impressive.  If my second card kit from Simon Says Stamp is any indication, my future is pretty much guaranteed to be colorful, fun and mega creative.

The April 2016 card kit is filled with great stuff that I know won’t be limited to making cards.  In fact, the Simple Stories “Life in Color” items included in this kit just scream “Add me to your planner!!” But that’s a future post.

Today I wanted to show you just how much quicker and easier this particular card kit makes it to create a couple of cards that any friend, family member, co-worker or client would be impressed to receive. I created both cards in just about 45 minutes.  It would take me longer than that to drive to a store and pick one out of the greeting card section.  I may be a bit biased, but I also think my handmade cards are so much prettier than a store bought version.

First, here is what came with the Simon Says Stamp April 2016 Card Kit:

SSS Birthday Flowers clear stamp set

Simple Stories “Life in Color” 6 x 6 double sided papers, stickers and plastic clips

WOW! Black embossing powder

SSS Cardstock in Black, White, Schoolhouse Red, Cotton Candy and Surf Blue
